Backorders are shipped via courier. To cancel a backorder provide the following information.
We work very hard to produce the finest products. Every product we sell is covered by a one year warranty. If there is any manufacturing defect in a Burnwater™ product within the warranty period we will work to repair or replace it (shipping charges to Burnwater™ are not reimbursed on warranty items). We reserve the right to decline any product covered under warranty that has been subject to normal wear and tear, misuse or abuse. Please call for authorization before returning any products back to Burnwater™. Each product returned under warranty shall be cleaned by the owner before returning it to Burnwater™.
Paddles do incur natural wear and tear and breakdown of materials over time. Taking care of your paddle will significantly extend its life. Here are a few things that you can do to extend the life of your paddle.
Our primary concern with warranties is to get you safely back on the water as soon as possible!
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Burnwater guarantees to you, the original owner, that our product will be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship for one year from date of purchase. If you experience problems with a Burnwater product, return it to us and include your contact information, claim details, and please provide proof of purchase. Defective products will be replaced or repaired at the discretion of Burnwater. Burnwater shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damage, unreasonable use or improper care. Any paddle returned with incomplete information will be set aside for a reasonable amount of time and no action will be taken until we are contacted.
Damages due to accidents, improper use, wear and tear or other non-warranty issues will be repaired at a reasonable cost plus shipping and handling. Please send your paddle postage paid with your details and we will repair it after a quote and your approval with payment. If the paddle is irreparable we may choose to offer a replacement paddle at a discount. This will be considered on an individual basis.
